Londoner, Tertia, is an exciting artist and producer who released her brand new EP, 'BENDED' on May 3rd. Making music from a young age, it was whilst away studying in Dublin that Tertia’s production skills blossomed. A talented producer, her fandom for artists such as Boards of Canada, Grimes, LCD Soundsystem and Tirzah has helped inform her work - all artists with a singular vision. And while electronic influences undeniably shape the core of her work, a love for jazz is audibly clear as are nods to acoustic / folk artists like Cate Le Bon and Angel Olsen. The sum-total is thrilling, a new talent deftly making music with a human touch. 

A modern pop artist in every sense, Tertia’s bright vocal arrangements seem to exist in contrast to a darker production style and honest lyrics, an approach that gives her output a slightly off centre, almost nocturnal feel. Self-produced and featuring singles ‘INFRARED’ and ‘Cheerleader’, new EP BENDED charts break-ups, overbearing friendships, vulnerability and nature, showing Tertia not scared to open her diary and share what’s written down. Named after a lyric on single ‘i saw what you did’ – “you like the truth when bended” – as it implied levels of resistance and force that she felt reflected the big changes also happening in her life as she wrote the EP; “There were a lot of goodbyes and a lot of change, which felt unnatural and sometimes destructive,“bending” the direction of my life. For better, or for worse,” she said.
